2nd November Indy 500 prep
9th November The Big Serve ( The great car wash – Kids wash the leaders and parents cars ) Boys please bring a rain jacket because you might get a little wet.
16th Novemeber Big screen movie night 8pm finish (Due many leaders and some kids being very tired from camp we are opting for an easy evening)
23rd November Indy 500 race night.
30th November Auckland Iconz Beach Bash ( New event at Eastern Beach details to come ) for Iconz 8pm finish Explorers – Games night finish time 7:30
7th December Building with the dads
14th December BBQ Break up.
Iconz/Explorer Indy 500. This term as fund raiser we are going to run another go cart race. Thank you so much to you parents last year who supported your kids in helping us raise $500 dollars for our Iconz/ Explorers unit. This year with over 50 kids on our role we would love to raise over 500. The money raised goes to keeping our costs low as possible.
How does it work- Basically the boys are race in their teams around the church for 30 min and the winning team is the team that can do the most amount of laps. We are asking people to sponsor them for each lap they complete as a team. Term 4 can be really tight for cash especially heading into Christmas. By helping the boys find sponsorship from friends, work colleges or extended family can be great way to spread the load. As always every little bit counts. So if your man is struggling to find sponsorship even getting just a few dollars will have meant that he played a part in helping fundraise. Thanks heaps for your support in this area.
We will be handing out the sponsor sheets next week.
